Measure the pickup coil peak voltage: Remove the ignitor coupler. Connect the peak voltage tester with the + probe to the blue/white lead wire and the – probe to the green lead wire. Bike barely won’t to idle on full choke. Touch the throttle and it dies. Seems like it’s starving for fuel.. Suzuki VL800 Intruder Volusia review. Visordown. Thu, 1 Jan 2004. Excellent price and good ride quality mostly out-weighed by cheap finish and lack of any real character. Bikes like this are as much about how they look and make you feel as how they are to ride. Very comfortable and lovely just off the throttle with a refined image.
